Carnival Cruise Line VIFP Club Diamond guests receive a special event invitation from the ship's captain each cruise. Most of the time this special event will take place as a lunch that is for Diamond VIFP club members. Diamond guests have sailed 200+ days with Carnival and are at the highest tier of Carnival's VIFP loyalty program.
According to John Heald, the lunch menu has been the same for a long time, but that is now changing. A brand new Diamond Lunch menu has been introduced and there are plans to update the menu quarterly.
